The beautiful magnetic Awaji needle rest and Seki mini scissors by Cohana are entirely handmade. The Awaji needle rest is made of ceramic and decorated with a floral motif in the Awaji Kawara tradition of ceramic roof tiles, which dates back to the 17th century. Each needle rest keeps your needles safely together and is also completely unique: the richness of the earth and the colours of the glaze make each piece one of a kind. The needle rest has a diameter of 27mm.

This set also includes Cohana’s Seki mini scissors. You can cut simply by squeezing the spring handles together with two fingers. The scissors are forged by the Hasegawa cutlery manufacturer in Seki, a city known for its high-quality forging industry. The decorative silk tassel and the leather case add the finishing touch to the set. The Seki mini scissors are 35mm long and 22mm wide and have cutting blades of 8mm length.
